The Duke Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Nutrition at Duke University Medical Center is devoted to compassionate and sophisticated care of patients with disorders related to the endocrine system including: diabetes, osteoporosis and other bone diseases, disorders of cholesterol and lipids, pituitary and adrenal abnormalities, and thyroid and parathyroid disease.
Our mission is three-fold. We seek to:
- Deliver state-of-the-art clinical service to our patients with diabetes and other endocrine disorders
- Generate new knowledge to advance our specialty through clinical and basic science research
- Train physicians, students and other health care providers in the principles and practice of endocrinology
