Four faculty in the Division of Cardiology have received awards from the Mandel Center for Hypertension and Atherosclerosis at Duke. The faculty are members of the Duke Cardiovascular Research Center, which has a mission of scholarship, training, and mentoring that includes developing the next leaders in cardiovascular discovery research.

Duke Endocrinology takes on Diabetes Dance Dare
Duke Endocrinology participated in the Diabetes Dance Dare on Fri., Dec. 2. Faculty, trainees and staff at different Duke Endocrinology locations gathered and danced for 23 seconds in recognition of the fact that every 23 seconds someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with diabetes. PEERONE celebrates one-year anniversary with new accomplishments
By sharing experiences of balancing schoolwork with full-time jobs and small children at home, time management skills, and financial aid tips, PEERONE has really become a tight-knit team. The group is celebrating their first anniversary this December, and they have had a very successful year. The team has grown exponentially via word of mouth, and they have accomplished quite a bit during the past 12 months.
