Duke Cardiovascular Research Center members Nenand Bursac, PhD, Howard Rockman, MD, and Victor Dzau, MD, are part of a mulit-university team of researchers that has been tasked with creating and testing a three-dimensional "heart patch" that can literally mend a broken heart.

Eight teams composed of health and data scientists from Duke will participate in a Duke Health Analytics Workshop on Fri., Nov. 11 from 11:45 a.m.-5 p.m. in Holsti-Anderson Family Assembly Room, 153 Rubenstein Library.

Duke's MEDx is pleased to offer support for interdisciplinary colloquia that bring together physicians, engineers, computer scientists, data analysts, basic and/or clinical researchers with a common desire to combine the elements of medicine and engineering to solve complex problems and inspire innovation.
