Four senior faculty members at Duke including two faculty members from the Department of Medicine have been named Fellows of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (AAAS).

The Society of General Internal Medicine's (SGIM) annual meeting just wrapped up (virtually of course). 

It is with great sadness that we write to inform you that Dawn Tranchino Provenzale, MD, passed away on April 20, 2021.

Susanna Naggie, MD, was selected as a member of the 2021-2022 class of fellows for the Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine® (ELAM) Program at Drexel University College of Medicine.

According to their colleagues in the Division of Infectious Diseases, both Thomas Holland, MD, and Cameron Wolfe, MBBS, MPH, richly deserve the Presidential Award for their work during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many coworkers said that over the past year Dr. Holland and Dr. Wolfe seemed to be everywhere, all the time, and many called them “tireless.”

The April 20, 2021 session of Duke Medicine LEADS featured Suchita Shah Sata, MD, FACP, SFHM, presenting, "Upstream, Downstream, and Bridges Over Troubled Waters: Embracing High-Value Care."
