Dr. Bentley-Edwards receives $2.7 million grant from NIH
We are proud to announce GIM Assistant Professor of Medicine, Keisha Bentley-Edwards, PhD, has received a $2,713,229 grant from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to support a five-year study aimed at investigating the relationship between religion, spirituality and cardiovascular disease risks in African Americans and serve as a catalyst for evidence-based interventions to support positive health outcomes for African Americans.

Internal application process is now open for Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine Program for Women
The internal application process is now open for the Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine® (ELAM®) Program for Women, the nation's only in-depth program focused on preparing senior women faculty at schools of medicine, dentistry and public health for institutional leadership positions where they can effect positive change. Application deadline is Oct. 9, 2017.
