This holiday season, the Department of Medicine is asking for your help to support the BOOST (Building Opportunities and Overtures in Science and Technology) program at Duke University. Now through Dec. 31, the Department of Medicine is championing BOOST to help raise critical funds to help continue the work in supporting Durham’s youth.

Dr. Nia Mitchell is the Principal Investigator on a new research project funded by the Duke Cancer Institute addressing health disparities among African American breast cancer survivors. 

The Dec. 8, 2020 session of Duke Medicine LEADS featured a case presentation by Trent Wei, MD; Lonnie Sullivan, MD; and Stacy Bagrova, MD, "26-year-old male with syncope and fevers", with expert consults Lance Okeke, MD, MPH; Chet Patel, MD; and John Carney, MD.
