Three internal medicine residents and five fellows have been elected to the Duke University School of Medicine chapter of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society for Spring 2020.

To enable investigators to access these services for exciting new studies that are not yet externally funded, we are pleased to announce the 2020 Spring SOM Core Facility Voucher Program. Deadline to apply is April 17, 2020.

The Duke Global Health Institute (DGHI) invites interdisciplinary teams led by DGHI faculty to submit research proposals in the area of data science, machine learning, and/or artificial intelligence. Deadline to apply is April 20, 2020.

In collaboration with Duke AI Health and Duke Forge, the Duke Department of Medicine is seeking proposals for research in health data science. The deadline has been extended to April 30, 2020.

The School of Medicine will offer a workshop, led by Joanna Downer, PhD, on Aug. 6, 2020 on the “5 Cs” of effective writing: making sure it is complete, compelling, clear, concise, and consistent.
