Duke Division of Medical Oncology faculty participate in basic research that clarifies the mechanisms behind cancers of all types, with the goal of discovering better therapies.
This work has led to the beginnings of personalized medicine for patients with colon cancer, lung cancer, and breast cancer, as well as the development of promising novel therapies for breast cancer and brain tumors.
