It's that time of year again to get your flu vaccination.

Cary Ward, MD, associate professor of medicine (Cardiology), has been appointed as the new Director of the Duke Clinical Leadership Program (DCLP) in the School of Medicine. 

The School of Medicine is accepting nominations for the 2018 Research Staff Appreciation Awards, which recognize staff members who provide exemplary support in the conduct of research. Applications are due October 24, 2018.

Vivian Lee, MD, PhD, MBA, an academic radiologist and member of the National Academy of Medicine, whose career brought her to the role of a health system CEO and medical school dean, will present the Eugene A. Stead Jr., MD, Lecture at Medicine Grand Rounds on Friday, November 9, 2018 as part of Duke’s Medical Alumni Weekend.
