Tulsky Receives Funding for Decision-Making Research
Dr. James Tulsky, MD, received funding for his pilot/exploratory project, “Triadic Expectations: Decision-Making in Advanced Cancer.” This project will explore the entire decision-making triad of patient, oncologist, and caregiver and examine how these individuals influence each others’ decision-making. Associate UME Director Position Opening this Summer
The associate director of undergraduate medical education will be open starting July 1. Dr. Mary Klotman welcomes interested faculty candidates able to dedicate 10-15% of their effort to working with Dr. Saumil Chudgar and the Department’s education leadership team. This position assists in the oversight of UME activities with a particular focus on sub-internships. Please contact Klotman directly with your interest and CV.
Chudgar to serve as director of undergraduate medical education
Saumil Chudgar, MD, MS, assistant professor of medicine in the Hospital Medicine Program and the Division of General Internal Medicine, has agreed to serve as director of undergraduate medical education for the Department effective July 1, Mary Klotman, MD, chair of the Department of Medicine, announced today.
