Giving

The Division of Hematology relies on the individual gifts and philanthropic partnerships to help support our clinical, research and educational missions.

William H. Kane Memorial Lectureship in Hematology

The William H. Kane Memorial Lectureship in Hematology was established to celebrate the legacy of William Kane, M.D., as a passionate scientist, dedicated clinician and esteemed teacher.

Funds donated to the lectureship will be used to invite a nationally recognized hematologist, involved in clinical or basic scientific investigation, to speak at Hematology-Oncology Grand Rounds and to spend time with Hematology-Oncology fellows in an informal setting.

Hematology Scholars Fund

The Hematology Scholars Fund invests in the training of future hematologists through award programs to support trainees and junior faculty involved in research, funds to support educational programs and outreach for non-malignant hematologic disorders and develop collaborative networks for the study of rare hematologic illness.

General Hematology Gift Fund

A gift to the General Hematology Gift Fund will provide unrestricted support for the clinical, educational and research missions for the Division of Hematology. Alternatively, gifts can be directed to the Hematology physician of your choice in support of their academic mission at Duke University Medical Center.
