Hematology researcher

The Duke Division of Hematology conducts basic research and translational research about a wide range of nonmalignant and malignant blood disorders, including anemias, polycythemia, thrombocytopenia, thrombocytosis, leukopenia, leukocytosis, sickle cell disease, thalassemia, and hemostatic and thrombotic disorders.

Investigation is also underway on premalignant and malignant hematologic disorders, including myelodysplasia, leukemia and lymphoma.
