Center for Pulmonary Vascular Disease

The Center for Pulmonary Vascular Disease offers the full scope of consultative and collaborative care for pulmonary hypertension (PH), including pulmonary thromboendarterectomy (PTE) surgery for patients with chronic thromboembolic PH (CTEPH).

Our center has over 20 years of experience in treating all forms of pulmonary vascular disease, with dedicated focus on novel therapies, extensive research participation, and case management to educate patients and their caregivers.

Multi-Faceted Approach to Care and Research

The Center for Pulmonary Vascular Disease takes a multi-faceted approach to care and research, including:

  • Comprehensive diagnostic testing of PH of all types, including pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), PH associated with heart and lung disease, and CTEPH
  • Research participation, novel therapies, and registry enrollment
  • Access to all treatment options, including parenteral prostacyclins
  • Individualized treatment plans for patients with CTEPH ranging from medications, balloon pulmonary angioplasty and surgery
  • Close collaboration with the lung transplant team for management of patients with advanced disease
  • Long-term care and support to assist patients and caregivers in managing their condition

Our Multidisciplinary Team

Our multidisciplinary team is composed of specialist physicians who collaborate with nurses, therapists, and pharmacists to treat, advise, and monitor patients.
