Sleep Medicine Program

Sleep medicine is becoming an increasingly recognized area of health. Sleep disorders may result in a wide range of adverse effects impacting mood, cognition, metabolism, cardiovascular disease, and daytime function.

Our division has made great efforts to deliver high-quality sleep care by physicians who are board-certified in sleep medicine. Under the direction of Wissam Mansour, MD, we offer the most advanced therapeutic options to treat simple and complex sleep-related breathing disorders.

Clinical Care

Duke’s sleep medicine specialists care for patients with a broad spectrum of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, hypoventilation, narcolepsy, parasomnias, and restless leg syndrome. Our sleep center offers state-of-the art lab testing to help diagnose and treat such disorders. We are well equipped to evaluate various sleep-related breathing disorders and offer appropriate therapies.

Multidisciplinary Sleep Group

Our multidisciplinary team is composed of specialists with background training in pulmonology, neurology, psychiatry, otolaryngology, and dentistry. The group works closely together to offer the best available therapy for every patient.
