DGIM  Professor of Medicine, Dr. Larry Greenblatt, was recently interviewed on ABC 11 News about a woman with a "hidden" long-time opioid addiction. 

Dr. Nirmala Amaldoss, who served as a clinician-educator in the Division of General of Internal Medicine since 2003, died on June 23. The funeral was held Monday, June 26. 

On Wednesday, June 21st, family, patients and colleagues gathered at Duke Integrative Medicine to celebrate Dr. Eve Lausier's career and retirement.

Bradley Hammill, DrPH, joined the Duke Division of General Internal Medicine in March of 2016. He is a Senior Biostatistician with the Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI) and was recently named Associate Professor of Medicine. Learn more about him in our interview below:

Another academic year is coming to end, which means it's time to recognize individuals who have exemplified excellence in teaching during the year.  Three teaching awards were given out and we are proud to announce the recipients are all GIM faculty members! 

Joel Boggan, MD, has accepted the position of Associate Program Director in the Duke Internal Medicine Residency Program, which will begin on July 1.
