Ross selected for 40 under 40 award

GIM Assistant Professor of Medicine, Adia Ross, MD, was one of the recipients of the Triangle Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award. This prestigious award honors many accomplishments in business as well as contributions to the community. The awardees were honored at a dinner event at The North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh on Thursday, June 27. This is the 19th year the journal has given out these awards.

Reflections from CAGPM's first T32 Scholars

The Duke Center for Applied Genomics and Precision Medicine’s (CAGPM) Post-doctoral Training Program in Genomic Medicine, supported by an NIH training award (T32), began in 2017 with its first two fellows: Carolyn Baloh, M.D., and Cory Stingl, M.D. Now that their time in the program is coming to an end, they are reflecting on their experiences and looking towards their futures.

PCRC: Nothing about me, without me

The Duke Primary Care Research Consortium (PCRC) is growing. With the expanding reach of Duke Health, the community-based research network now includes more than 70 practices in 9 counties in North Carolina.  It represents more than 200 primary-care clinicians caring for more than 350,000 patients, with access to a total population of 1.2 million.

Chatterjee + Dolor in NEJM publication

Drs. Ranee Chatterjee and Rowena Dolor are co-authors on a New England Journal of Medicine publication on a role for vitamin D in prevention of type 2 diabetes.
