​Four faculty from the Department of Medicine have been newly selected for leadership roles/course directorships in the Medical School for the next academic year.

DGIM faculty members Brian Griffith, MD and Clay Musser, MD, presented last year at Epic's 2018 User Group Meeting (UGM) in Verona, Wisconsin. We just heard their presentation at this meeting, entitled “Data-Driven BPA Optimization: Steady Progress, Dramatic Results”, was chosen for EPIC Classics, a project to improve the education of people new to the EMR software.

Seven Department of Medicine faculty were recognized with awards at the School of Medicine annual Spring Faculty Meeting on May 8.

Advocacy day in Washington DC discussing high drug prices

We are proud to announce GIM Medical Instructor, Andrea Archibald, MD, received the Isaac Hall Manning Jr. Award for Excellence in Patient care at the Service Excellence awards ceremony last week. This award was established by the family of Dr. Isaac Hall Manning Jr. to honor him for his lifelong dedication, caring, and excellence in patient care.
