Three faculty from the Department of Medicine have been selected for the School of Medicine's ALICE leadership development program.

Eight faculty from the Department of Medicine have been selected for the 2020 Duke Clinical Leadership Program.

10 faculty from the Department of Medicine have been selected for the School of Medicine's LEADER program. 

Meet Jeff Clough, MD, assistant professor of medicine. Dr. Clough completed residency in 2011 at Duke and then spent three years with CMS. In 2014 we were excited to welcome him back to Duke where he now sees patients at Duke Primary Care Pickett Road and has taken on the administrative director role for this practice location. We asked Dr. Clough several questions about his career and here's what we learned, including a few surprises.

Congratulations to 3 of our GIM faculty members who were recipients of recent research funding

After spending 10 weeks at Duke, three Summer Scholars, Ednan Ochieng, Alexandria Scott and Kennedy Lofton, presented their research to the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS) in Anaheim, California, November 13 – 16.

​Adia K. Ross, MD, MHA, the medical director for Duke Raleigh Hospital Medicine, has been named Duke Regional Hospital’s new chief medical officer. Dr. Ross is an assistant professor of medicine (General Internal Medicine) and graduate of the Duke Internal Medicine Residency Program.

We are pleased to announce the promotion of one of our faculty members. 

When Dr. Laura Caputo was appointed as the education lead for the Durham VA inpatient rotation, she was eager to come up with a way residents could learn on their own time, given their unpredictable schedules.
