Duke undergraduate Nick McCrory is one of two Duke divers competing in the London Olympics. McCrory is the son of Douglas McCrory, MD, MHSc, associate professor of medicine (General Internal Medicine).
McCrory fils was also featured in this Today Show segment.

At the February Medicine Research Conference, two faculty members who also serve as researchers at the Center for Health Services Research in Primary Care at the Durham VA, addressed the comparative effectiveness of smoking cessations programs.
