Interview Information

During the application interview season (October through January), we will be conducting two sessions each day. You can choose either the morning session OR the afternoon session. The morning interviews will begin at 7:30am EST and afternoon interviews will begin at 1:00pm EST. Candidates begin the day with a welcome from program leadership, have three interviews (one with the Program Director, one with a member of the Leadership Team, and one with an additional faculty member), and are provided access to our applicant-only interview website to learn more about the Duke Hospital, our program, residents, and more.

Candidates are encouraged to join the house staff for a laid-back Zoom session the evening before the interview day. This informal gathering provides candidates an opportunity to learn about the program, Durham, and meet some current house staff.
