Congratulations to two Duke Hospital Medicine providers who have been awarded DUH HM Clinical Innovations Awards for 2022!

GIM Associate Professor of Medicine, Dr. Clarissa Diamantidis, is a recipient of the National Institute of Health's (NIH) Loan Repayment Program (LRP). 

GIM Assistant Professor of Medicine, Nicole Depasquale, PhD, is this year's recipient of the ADA Division 20 Springer Early Career Achievement Award. This award is designed to honor an individual whose work has made significant early career contributions to understanding critical issues in the psychology of adult development and aging.

Congratulations to Rebekah "Ryanne" Wu, MD, who received a distinguished academic promotion in the division of General Internal Medicine. Dr. Wu is being promoted to Associate Professor, effective August 1, 2021. Since joining Duke faculty in 2015, she has served a number of critical roles that integrate her clinical, research and academic interests.

The July 20, 2021 session of Duke Medicine LEADS featured David Ming, MD, presenting, "Systems of Care for Patients with Complex Health Needs: It’s Complicated."

We are proud to welcome five new faculty members to the Division of General Internal Medicine: Ruchi Doshi, MD, MPH Dr. Doshi has been with Duke since she began her Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency in 2017. She now joins our division as a Hospitalist at Duke University Hospital. Parsa Ghasem, MD Dr. Ghasem comes from the Michigan Medicine community where he just completed his fellowship. He joins our division as a hospitalist at Duke University Hospital.
