3 in DGIM take home teaching awards

Another academic year is coming to end, which means it's time to recognize individuals who have exemplified excellence in teaching during the year.  Three teaching awards were given out and we are proud to announce the recipients are all GIM faculty members! 

Zullig featured on cover of HemOnc Today magazine

DGIM's own Leah Zullig, PhD, was featured on the cover for a recent paper she wrote on the need for inclusion of minorities and other traditionally underrepresented groups in cancer clinical trials.

New advance care planning initiative at the DOC

The Duke Outpatient Clinic is kicking off a new program to help increase patient engagement in advance care planning (ACP), the patient process of speaking with loved ones and the medical team about what the care you'd like to receive if unable to speak for yourself

Faculty Spotlight: Juan Marcos Gonzalez

This past January Juan Marcos Gonzalez, PhD, joined the Duke Division of General Internal Medicine and the Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI).
